The screenshot below shows the feature everyone seems to be asking for... Yes, the calendar is back!

Now the calendar is a mouseclick away. It works much as it did in 3.0, meaning days with no comics are greyed out, you can click on days etc.
I'm still thinking about Favorites. Thats trickier, as it requires me to maintain state. Brrr...

I've set up a forum (of sorts) on YahooGroups. While YahooGroups is a little annoying in that it uses a message digest metaphor, it does at least let members upload into a file area, so plugins can be uploaded and maintained by the community.

I've made a Quicktime movie showing iComic 4 aka iComic Dashboard Edition (I may stick with the Dashboard Edition moniker in case I end up revving the regular version too). Click the image below to open the movie in a new window.

The movie runs at 1024x768 and is 6.2MB in size
Development continues and there are still some wrinkles, but this shows a good idea of the base functionality.
